Signature Files

A signature file is an attachment to the bottom of every email you send. Do signature files really work? Most definitely. It is one of the easiest ways to put your advertisement for your web site in front of others. And when you are sending a legitimate email or responding in a discussion group, it is an acceptable way to display your ad. Most email programs make it easy enough to set up and change your signature file.

Your signature file should include a dividing line to separate it from the message, the sender's name, contact information, a short description or sales pitch, and your website address. Here's an example of a signature file:
